The Mansion is a building for the community run by the community, in the centre of Totnes. It is managed behind the scenes by the Totnes Community Development Society.

The Mansion is home to a vibrant and eclectic group of users and tenants including the Totnes Bike Hub, Resilient Lives, Pizza Pirates, Rainbow Nursery, Totnes Library, Mend Assembly, Transition Town Totnes, Action to Prevent Suicide, Caring Town, Sugary Cove Crystals, the Edgy Veggie Kitchen, The Climate Hub and many more. We have spaces for artistic activities in our ceramics and arts studios whether you be a painter, printer or potter!

The Mansion is the place for the community, to meet, to sit, to chat or just to relax. Especially in our wonderful child friendly, calm courtyard where you can pause to have a tasty bite to eat, or read a book or have a game of chess with friends. It is a space for our community where everyone is welcome just to be.
