The Totnes Festival Grand Parade led by the Mayor on Jonty the horse will include elements of carnival, music, giant puppets, flamboyant walkabout characters, small floats and decorated structures and will be open to all to take part. Anyone who fancies getting dressed up or building something that can be pushed pulled or carried over the two mile route is encouraged to take part.

JOIN US FOR THE PARADE FINALE AT BOROUGH PARK FROM 5PM!! This is not to be missed, featuring prize giveaways, food stalls, live music from Phoenix Laotaris and Trikke Ballake, giant puppets & a spectacular burn of a fire sculpture made by Firefly pyrotechnics! Everyone welcome, free entry.

Parade Route

The parade will proceed from Steamer Quay, through the centre of Totnes, via Follaton and finish outside The Rugby Club, Borough Park. There will be a gathering of all the participants with music, food and the grand finale.

You are welcome to join the procession at any pick up point listed here:

START: 3:00pm at Steamer Quay

Route: Seymour Rd, Totnes Bridge, The Plains

Pick up point 1: The Plains

Route: Fore St, High St.

Pick up point 2: Market Square

Route: The Narrows, Collins Road, Lower Collins Road.

Pick up point 3: Bottom of Lower Collapark

Route: Castle View Terrace, Castle St, over A385 Station Road through the carpark at Totnes Station and into Borough Park.

FINALE: 5:00pm at Totnes Rugby Club, Borough Park.
