Artist and filmmaker Beth Walker presents ‘Beneath’ – a meditation on growth, connection and symbiosis inspired by the entangled lives of fungi.

An engrossing, sensory experience nestled between the trees in St Mary’s Churchyard. Explore an illuminated walkway, listen closely to the whisperings, and ponder the quiet world beneath your feet.

Beth has spent the past year developing this project as her graduation piece from the Royal College of Art, inspired by Merlin Sheldrake’s groundbreaking book, Entangled Life. Especially for Totnes Festival, the project is being reworked from a short animated film into an immersive sound and projection based installation.

Suitable for all. The installation will be open to the public from 8-10pm on Monday 15th & Tuesday 16th August.
